Episode Context

Sitting at episode 112 of 136, this installment follows the emotionally resonant 'The Homecoming Crown!' where Lillie reunited with her father, and extends that warmth by bringing Ash back to Alola for meaningful reconnections. It functions as both a celebration of past bonds and a narrative bridge, building momentum and emotional stakes heading into the climactic Masters Eight Tournament arc that will define the series' endgame.
