That moment when Lucius actually stepped out of the Laquium was wild because who would have thought he was alive after all this time

Lucius and Gibeon arguing about their past was so heavy, especially since they used to be friends before the Laquium ruined everything

It is wild that Rayquaza was taking orders from Lucius and Zygarde cells to test everyone this entire time without you knowing it

I was so shocked when Spinel just ignored how dangerous that alien substance is because he only cares about his research

I can’t believe Lucius has been stuck in that Laquium for a century and still knows exactly what is going on because of the Zygarde cells. The confrontation between him and Gibeon felt so personal and sad since they were once friends. It really puts the whole journey into a new light knowing Lucius was the one directing Rayquaza to find Liko

Having Friede and his team get sidelined because of the Laquium energy really makes the situation feel desperate for Liko and Roy

Amethio choosing to walk away from Gibeon and stand with the Rising Volt Tacklers is such a huge moment for him

I am still processing the fact that Zygarde was basically spying for Lucius the whole time and Lucius set up this entire journey

That White Zygarde is terrifying but finding out it was actually the one setting up the whole journey to find heroes is a crazy twist

Gibeon wanting to use Laquium despite how it ruins the land makes him such a cold villain and Lucius trying to stop him was intense

Seeing Zygarde struggle between its job as the world guardian and its history with Gibeon was painful, especially when it looked like it was ready to fight the heroes

I honestly did not think Lucius would just be alive and chilling in a crystal but him explaining how Zygarde kept him updated on Liko and the others was a really cool way to tie everything together plus hearing that Rayquaza officially accepted Roy as its trainer made me want to cheer because that kid has worked so hard for it
mayuri_madness_464's avatar
mayuri_madness_464
The realization that Laquium could literally end the world if Gibeon keeps using it for eternal life makes the stakes feel so much bigger than just a normal Pokémon battle

I still can't believe Lucius has been stuck inside the Laquium this whole time and Zygarde was just helping him watch over everything while Rayquaza waited for the kids to show up

I am still shaking because Lucius being alive inside that crystal for a century is the wildest thing this show has done
yoko_littner_186's avatar

The reveal that Laquium is basically an alien substance makes Gibeon look even more reckless, especially since he ignores Lucius literally coming back to life just to warn him about the danger

Everything changed the second Amethio stepped in to protect Lucius, especially when the four of them all Terastallized together to face Gibeon

I actually gasped when that Shiny Mega Lucario appeared and seeing a Mega Evolution back in the mix like this is massive for the battle scale
otakuking777's avatar
otakuking777
Gibeon talking about his old friendship with Lucius and Rystal while still trying to destroy everything with that space rock shows how far gone his mind actually is at this point

Amethio actually standing his ground against Gibeon felt like a massive turning point for him because he finally stopped being a mindless soldier for the Explorers and chose his own path

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode directly follows the Rising Volt Tacklers' clash with the Explorers, deepening the conflict over the Laquium crystal and Gibeon's schemes involving Zygarde's power. It serves as a crucial escalation point in the ongoing high-stakes arc, building momentum toward the next episode, 'The Earthshaking White Zygarde,' where the consequences of these confrontations are set to reach a breaking point.
