That Chansey blasting Sohdayo into the atmosphere was honestly so funny because he definitely deserved it for being so annoying to Mollie after all those years

You have to appreciate how fluid the movement was during that Chansey scene, especially since it was such a ridiculous moment for Mollie to finally snap at Wyatt

Wyatt is such a chaotic addition to the cast and his Wynaut is the perfect partner for someone who just makes up whatever truth he wants to believe in at the moment

The way that oasis restoration played out showed how much the kids have grown and seeing them handle a wild Farigiraf with such teamwork was really satisfying

You can tell the show is heading somewhere big now that Entei has been spotted near Olivine City. The transition back to a goofier tone worked perfectly for this bridge episode

It was so funny to finally see Mollie lose her cool. Finding out she used to be a student of that weird journalist guy was a total shock to me

Helping that grumpy Farigiraf find its water again was a sweet little side quest and it was cool seeing Crocalor and Espathra actually coordinate their moves to fix the oasis

I thought Wyatt Yessler was a total riot and the way his Wynaut just plays into his nonsense with those name puns is honestly the funniest thing this show has done in a while. I really liked the way the episode slowed down for a lighter story after all the heavy stuff lately and seeing Mollie lose her cool at her old mentor was gold

You really get a sense of how much Wyatt exaggerates everything with that catchphrase and the fact he is taking the crew to Olivine City for Entei is such a cool Johto callback

That sequence where Chansey absolutely obliterated that giant boulder was way too good and the animation there went so much harder than it had any right to for a comedy bit

I definitely was not expecting Mollie to have such a history with that Wyatt guy and seeing her Chansey just launch him off the airship made me laugh so hard

Being the junior of that annoying journalist by only two days is such a petty reason for him to tease Mollie and she clearly still wants to punch him

Wyatt being a total weirdo about his truth philosophy was funny and the pun with his name and Wynaut worked way better than expected
tsukuyomi_thief's avatar

I was totally caught off guard by Mollie having a past as this prim and proper trainee because she is so tough now, and seeing her Blissey just launch Wyatt into the horizon was such a satisfying way to end their reunion plus it gave us a real reason to finally head to Olivine City to find Entei.

That desert episode was basically just one big pun about Wyatt and his Wynaut but at least the group finally has a lead on the Six Heroes

Roy and Crocalor fixed that water blockage for the oasis and it was nice to see the Pokémon stop fighting and start sharing again

I was cracking up when Wyatt kept lying through his teeth and then his Wynaut basically called him out for it every single time

Hearing that Entei is in Olivine City makes the move to Johto feel real, especially since the desert felt so long.

Farigiraf finally showed up in the anime and Dot figured out the water blockage but the rest of the episode felt like a long walk to nowhere

I could not stop laughing when Blissey just slapped Wyatt into the sky like he was Team Rocket and his Wynaut didn't even care that he was gone

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the worldbuilding-focused 'The Wonders of the World!' episode, this installment serves as a transitional chapter that bridges exploration with the team's next major objective. Wy-Yes's reappearance provides key intel pointing toward Entei and the Johto region, giving the Rising Volt Tacklers a clear destination moving forward. It's a connective episode that balances standalone entertainment with essential setup for the Johto arc ahead.
