Kilowattrel went down so fast, I was genuinely shocked by how predictable Roy got – it’s like he totally forgot himself in all that overconfidence. It hurt me to see him so utterly defeated, even though Ryme’s brutal honesty was probably the wake-up call he really needed.

You could see the panic in his eyes when that Toxtricity just shrugged off every attack and then he wasted the Tera out of pure desperation

Watching Roy get completely dismantled by Ryme was a massive reality check and he really needed to stop relying on that same singing trick in every fight

I felt so bad for Roy when Ryme called him a failure of a partner because he really loves Fuecoco and seeing him that crushed was painful

The way the Drifloon just tried to carry Terapagos away to the afterlife was actually terrifying and Nemona showing up right when they were floating away was lucky

My heart broke seeing Roy look so shattered after Ryme told him he was a bad partner because those two have been through everything together and it felt unfair

Ryme calling Roy a poor partner was so cold after he worked so hard to find her and start the battle

I loved the rap battle part because Roy looked so happy doing his little freestyle and Ryme has such a cool vibe on her ghost stage

It was really cool having Nemona back because she actually knows what she is talking about with those Toxtricity abilities and she is always fun for me

I felt so bad for Kilowattrel getting knocked out like it was nothing because that bird deserves better and the whole fight felt rushed

The Punk Rock ability on Toxtricity was the perfect counter to Fuecoco, and it really exposed how Roy has no backup plan when singing fails

Nemona showing up to help with Terapagos was a nice surprise, and her explaining how Punk Rock works made the loss feel a bit more fair even if Roy got destroyed

Seeing Roy fail the test after all that work was painful and Ryme saying he is a poor partner felt like a huge slap in the face

That rap battle was surprisingly decent and it made the sudden shift to Roy losing his cool feel even more dramatic

My heart sank when Ryme told Roy he failed his test since he usually finds a way to pull through but he was just too predictable this time

I actually think Roy needed to fail this test because he was getting too comfortable just singing through every single battle and Ryme really put him in his place with that Toxtricity strategy and it was hard to watch him get crushed like that but seeing him actually have to think about his bond with Fuecoco makes the story way more interesting

Kilowattrel went down way too fast and it made the whole fight feel rushed even if the music was good during the rap challenge

Ryme was way too mean calling Roy a bad partner just because he likes to sing with Fuecoco and that was just hard to watch

Ryme has a cool vibe and her rap was actually pretty catchy but her calling Roy a bad partner felt like a weird attack on their friendship and she totally crushed him for no reason

Ryme and her Toxtricity totally shut down Fuecoco and it was refreshing to see a main character actually fail a test for once

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off the lighter, snow-filled adventure of Episode 60, this episode shifts focus to Roy's continued growth as a trainer by putting him through his Tera Training test against Ryme. It serves as the middle chapter in a mini-arc centered on Roy and Fuecoco's development, bridging the gap between their bonding moments in the snow and the musically-themed follow-up in Episode 62, 'A New Song for Fuecoco.'
