Episode Context

Coming off episode 47's focus on Liko and Floragato deepening their bond, this episode pivots to Roy's personal growth arc, continuing Horizons' pattern of rotating character spotlights across the Paldea region journey. It serves as a bridge between Liko's recent development and upcoming episodes that are expected to shift attention toward Dot's experiences. Within the broader season structure, this is a character-enrichment episode that builds the emotional foundation for the group's next major challenges.
