The mega-evolution battle continues between Roy’s group and the Explorers. Can the Rising Volt Tacklers bond with their Pokémon surpass the Explorer’s might and use of Rakulium? And can Liko’s group stop the Rakulium rampage without losing the Pokémon needed for the 18 terastype?

The scenes with Charem and Chalce made me feel bad for them and realize how much of a character Chalce is herself; she never intended to hurt her pokemon but did so unknowingly.. the parallels between her and Roy & Lucario were telling.

The still-frames made the starting battle really underwhelming and look funny instead of intense. At times, the still image would hold for one entire minute, relying on the momentum of said battle to make it feel important.

The battles in this episode did all it set out to do, maintaining the charm of the usual pokemon action sequences, while also keeping the atmosphere tense with the constant uneasiness in the main group, alongside the unexpected appearances of enemies like Spinel at the end!

Amethio calling out Zygarde Perfect Forme looked so cool and seeing all the cells swarm together into that massive green vortex was a huge surprise

the way coral and sidian are starting to enjoy a real battle without those spheres is a cool shift for their characters and it makes them more than just generic villains

i got a good laugh out of the post credits scene with guru min getting eaten by a victreebel because it was a nice break after all the drama with zygarde

The pacing this week felt much better than the previous setup, and the way they handled the explorers realizing their tech is a poor substitute for a real bond was satisfying. Seeing the adults provide aid to the villagers in pericarp town added some nice weight to the conflict, even if liko is still stuck handling the smaller tasks for now.

spinel finally moving out from behind his screens makes the factory mission feel way more dangerous especially with how he took over the preview

cap riding on terapagos to smash that transmitter was such a clever strategy and it shows how well liko and the others are starting to coordinate

i was so excited when roy called out chalce for using that device on medicham because seeing the pokemon in pain was rough and lucario really proved his point

that shot of zygarde complete forme towering over the factory was massive and amethio standing on its shoulder looked like a total boss move

I was really surprised when Amethio actually pulled out Zygarde Perfect Forme to stabilize that factory mess, but it felt a little bit rushed for such a legendary reveal. The way the Lakurium was making all those wild Pokémon go berserk was actually pretty dark for this show, and I like that they aren't using Revives to keep the stakes feeling real

That Explosion combo with Refrigerate from Coral was such a smart move even if she is totally reckless. It actually felt like the Explorers were a threat until Zygarde showed up and changed the whole vibe

Amethio showing up with Zygarde Perfect Forme was wild and the way it just towered over the whole factory really set the scale for how dangerous this lakurium stuff is getting

That Mighty G guy doing those ridiculous poses while actually saving that village from the mist hit me hard. It was a nice break from all the heavy factory stuff and the Zygarde reveal

I think seeing Cap surfing on Terapagos to wreck the machines was the best part of the whole factory raid. It makes me love how they work together without even needing words

Dot getting eaten by a Victreebel during the end segment was the perfect way to end such a heavy and serious episode

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off 'To the Final Battle', this episode is where preparation meets execution — the buildup pays off in full. It sits at a climactic pressure point in the season, functioning as the peak of a major confrontational arc. What unfolds here feeds directly into 'Awakening! The Catastrophic Rakurium Core', which signals that even after the summit, new and potentially greater challenges are already taking shape.
