Pokémon Horizons: The Series Episode 134: Showdown at the Summit! Mega Evolution!!

The battle begins not with strategy, but with raw force. Coral's Glalie and Chalce's Medicham clash against Roy's Lucario and Dot's Sableye. Medicham's Psychic attack meets Sableye's gemstone shield, a neat visual for defense. Meanwhile, Friede's Aerodactyl and Hamber's Starmie duel overhead, establishing the stakes early. This is a show, perhaps, about how quickly peace can shatter.

The skirmish continues with Friede pushing back against the Explorers, his Starmie disrupting their lines. But Coral, impatient, commands her Glalie to unleash a devastating Blizzard. This act of aggression turns the forest itself into a weapon, a testament to her destructive nature. Her recklessness is clear when she later orders a massive Explosion, forcing Dot and Roy to barely escape its icy blast. Friede explains the cold logic behind the environmental damage, while Hamber offers a rare moment of praise for the heroes' resilience, recognizing the strength of their bonds.

Chalce crosses a line, forcing her Medicham into a painful, overclocked state, its eyes glowing red. This sight horrifies Roy, who tries desperately to intervene. His concern for the suffering Pokémon contrasts sharply with Chalce's cold manipulation. Driven by a pure resolve, Lucario delivers a decisive Aura Sphere, ending the immediate torment. Chalce is left to stare at her defeated partner, a flicker of conflict on her face, but it is too little, too late for her Pokémon.

With one threat neutralized, the focus shifts. Dot's scanner confirms their proximity to the Explorer's operations. Elsewhere, Liko, Diana, and Anne race toward the disturbance, Liko clutching Terapagos as its anxiety rises. They arrive at the Lakurium factory, a grim, industrial complex. The pulsing pink crystal within, combined with Spinel's cold oversight, paints a clear picture of the looming danger.

The giant Lakurium crystal releases a violent pulse, sending Terapagos into distress and turning nearby wild Pokémon berserk. Mankey, Tauros, and Luxray become instruments of chaos, their eyes glowing red. Amethio appears suddenly, warning Liko that the Explorers' actions have triggered a catastrophic chain reaction. A temporary, defensive alliance is forced as Amethio's Ceruledge and Diana's Arcanine work to hold back the stampede.

Liko acts swiftly, using Meowscarada and Hattrem to calm the frenzied Pokémon. Terapagos senses a secondary transmitter, leading Captain Pikachu to it. In a synchronized effort, Pikachu's Thunderbolt combined with Terapagos's amplified energy shatters the device, halting the destructive pulses. The pink mist dissipates, and the wild Pokémon return to normal. This moment of relief is short-lived, however, as Amethio points out the main Lakurium crystal, now glowing with a more intense, unstable energy.

Amethio declares that only a force greater than the Lakurium's corruption can stop it. He reveals a glowing green core, drawing thousands of Zygarde Cells from across the landscape. The heroes watch, awestruck, as the cells merge into a massive vortex of green light. From this light emerges Zygarde's Perfect Forme, a colossal figure radiating pure order. Amethio stands atop it, asserting that Zygarde is the only answer to Gibeon's ambition, compelling Friede and Roy into a tense, temporary alliance.

Inside the factory, Spinel observes Zygarde's arrival, remaining remarkably calm. He sees this development not as a setback, but as a trigger for his "Final Phase." The Lakurium energy reacts violently to Zygarde's presence, swirling into a dangerous vortex. Elsewhere, a strange but heroic figure, Mighty G, makes a flamboyant entrance, using his Pokémon to clear the encroaching Lakurium mist from a terrified village. His eccentric heroism provides a brief, much-needed comedic counterpoint to the escalating disaster.

The Brave Asagi airship descends to aid the afflicted village, where Liko and Roy join Murdock and Mollie in establishing an emergency medical center. They treat injured Pokémon and comfort the frightened citizens, reinforcing their commitment to protecting others. Witnessing the widespread suffering strengthens Liko's resolve to end the Explorers' machinations. This leads directly to the final confrontation at the factory. Friede, Liko, Roy, Dot, and Amethio, now united, prepare to face Spinel and Chalce, with Zygarde's Perfect Forme poised to unleash its power.

In a lighthearted post-credits segment, Dot's Guru-min persona steps forward to explain the mechanics of Mega Evolution. She details how trainer-Pokémon bonds, Key Stones, and Mega Stones unlock hidden potential. Quaxly performs a comical dance for illustration, while a Victreebel serves as a visual aid. The segment ends with Guru-min humorously being swallowed by the Victreebel, a classic cartoon gag that provides a moment of levity after the episode's tension.
