Arboliva showing me that vision of the burning forest was genuinely shocking, I wasn't expecting such a raw display of grief from a Pokémon. It completely changed my perspective on its earlier actions; now I understand its attack wasn't malice, but the desperate sorrow of losing everything it protected.

i am still thinking about that second ancient poke ball hanging in the tree because it makes roy finding the first one feel way more like part of a bigger mystery than just a lucky find

Molly finally showing why she prefers the field over a pokemon center was such a cool detail and I really felt for her when she was protecting that wooper

whoa, arboliva waking up like that was totally wild, my heart was racing thinking about everyone! but roy and liko quickly jumping into action to shield everyone with their moves made me so proud of them, they're really growing into awesome trainers.

Molly being a field medic for wild pokemon makes so much sense for her character and it was cool to see her stand her ground like that

Gosh, seeing Liko and Roy actually sit down and plan out how to handle Arboliva without torching the whole forest was such a pleasant surprise for me. It really makes me think they're finally starting to understand teamwork, moving past just being kids relying on luck.

Liko still thinking Dot is just a huge Nidothing fan is the funniest part of the show and the way Dot was losing her mind inside the room was so funny

Watching Arboliva show them that vision of the burnt forest was heavy and it makes sense why it was so angry at everyone at first

It was great seeing Liko and Roy use teamwork to distract that giant, even if they were only doing it so Molly could finish treating the injuries
darunia_267's avatar

The vision Arboliva shared at the end was such a somber moment, especially since it shows how much of the forest was lost to that fire

Molly is such a badass for standing her ground against those wild pokemon so she could finish healing the wooper and seeing her medical gear in action was cool

how can liko see the nidothing costume drying and hear the music and still think dot is just a fan instead of the actual streamer because the level of denial is actually hilarious at this point

The forest looked so depressing after the fire, but it was nice to see the group bond over such a heavy situation

That gigantic Arboliva absolutely dwarfed Liko and Roy, and I couldn't help but feel a little anxious watching them try to explain their intentions to such a massive Pokémon. It made me wonder just how protective it is of its forest.

Liko and Roy finally syncing up their attacks against Arboliva made me so happy, and that high five at the end was so cute

The way Roy just casually finds another ancient pokeball hanging in a giant tree is wild and now there are more questions about where Lucius went

I cannot believe Liko still thinks Dot is just a super fan of Nidothing and it makes me laugh every single time she misses the obvious clues

Holy moly, I was NOT expecting that Arboliva to be such a titan! The sheer power of those energy beams it was blasting out actually made me feel a chill, like this wasn't just another friendly wild Pokémon encounter. It just absolutely dwarfed the surrounding forest, which made me realize just how much trouble they were really in.

Wooper, of all Pokémon, stepping up like that for Liko and Molly against the giant Arboliva totally surprised me. I mean, who would've thought that little guy had so much courage? It really made me wonder if it just has a naturally brave spirit or if there's more to its story that we don't know yet.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the energetic Nemona and Brassius encounters in the preceding episodes, this installment deliberately downshifts to explore character and theme before the narrative intensifies again. Mollie's development here adds emotional texture to the Rising Volt Tacklers crew dynamic that Liko and Roy have been navigating since the season's early stretch. It directly sets up 'The Future I Choose!,' where the reflections and experiences from this forest detour push characters toward pivotal decisions about their journeys.
