the mysteries are continuously stacking without overloading the plot. pacing is deliberate. I feel like this is still a setup but the emotional weight makes it worth the slow burn. also, i'd like to take note of how chilling that was when the final shot of the real pluto rising from the lake.

Despite the suspense and mysteries, its quite a good contrast to see wholesome scenes. A good balance of scenes and the steady pacing really makes you hooked.

I love how the mystery is being slowly and thoughtfully unravelled. Ofc we've got a death to robots' cult, and I really like how both sides of the story have been masterfully portrayed - the side of the robots and the humans against the robots. Gotta love Uran's helpful nature<3

Atom is finally here! 🤖 He’s so cute but lowkey eerie with how "real" he acts. That ice cream scene? Iconic. 🍦🔥

the mysteries just gets foggier and foggier, this episode had me grasping for answer that doesn't exist in this on, need to watch the next episode for the truth!
man, I honestly thought this anime was a let down but now it's one of the most compelling anime I have seen. 10/10

The story continues with a deep detective-style mystery, keeping the tension strong as the truth behind the incidents is still unknown. A new organization that strongly hates robots is introduced. The glimpse of Pluto’s power and what he might be capable of feels truly dangerous

The tension and hatred starts to invade the plot. The appearance of the anti-robot cult adds such a dark layer of prejudice. While it starts slow, it beautifully ends with a sharp cliffhanger. I'm already emotionally invested in that poor mister's backstory.

Subplots deepen as Gesicht uncovers tampered memories of a Japan trip swapped for a fake Spain vacation, hinting at police cover-ups, and Adolf fuels an anti-robot cult's rage against him. The word " Bora" has been a widespread chant amongst robots that is about to die.

Brando’s fight was a total visual spectacle. Even knowing how dangerous the situation was, the action scenes were beautifully animated. You can really feel the weight of every hit.

This episode shows that humans are still not ready to coexist with robots. The story sequence is incredible when you piece it together, you can really understand what’s happening. It’s also great that this episode gradually introduces the people behind Pluto

This episode is JAM-PACKED. The new characters all serve a purpose, Uran adds emotional depth, Abullah clarifies the conspiracy, Adolf grounds the bigotry in personal tragedy, Epsilon offers philosophical counterpoint.

Compromised memories. A mysterious cult. The word "Bora". An amnesiac. While the episode may seem slow, it makes sure to leave you with more questions than answers as Gesicht grapples with the feeling that the case isn't yet closed, while a man elsewhere harbors hatred for robots

This episode was absolutely mind blowing! 🤯 A new character was introduced as Atim's sister Uran, who has this incredible ability to sense emotions. The introduction of Professor Abullah and the dark secrets behind Gesicht’s missing memories and the trauma add such a gritty, analytical layer to the plot.

This episode slows things down to focus on character depth and it works beautifully. Pluto really leans into the emotional side of its story here. It’s quieter but incredibly powerful in the way it builds empathy for the characters.

The plot thickens as an inconsistency surfaces from Gesicht's perfect memory and eats away at his psyche, and additional sides/factions appear in the story to add more fuel to the fire. These interesting figures make me curious about how the plot moves forward, but I'm worried that it will follow the same formula without providing any decent leads on the real culprit.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following Episode 2's collaboration between Gesicht and Atom to piece together the murder pattern, Episode 3 pivots inward — Gesicht's investigation now turns on himself and his own data integrity, a critical shift at the series' early midpoint. Positioned as episode three of eight, this is the hinge where Pluto transitions from establishing its mystery to interrogating the investigators themselves. The character groundwork and revelations here directly feed into the deeper conspiracies and escalating stakes that define the back half of the series.
