📖 SYNOPSIS
"Plastic Memories" is set in a technologically advanced future where androids indistinguishable from humans, called Giftia, are commonplace. These androids, produced by SA Corp., are designed with advanced emotional capabilities, making them ideal companions. However, Giftia have a predetermined lifespan, and when they near their expiration, they must be retrieved. The story follows Tsukasa Mizugaki, a new employee at the terminal service responsible for retrieving these androids. He is paired with Isla, a Giftia, and together they navigate the emotional complexities of their work, confronting the inevitable loss and the delicate balance between human and artificial life. The series explores themes of mortality, companionship, and the value of memories in a world increasingly intertwined with advanced technology.
