To all the nurses out there, this one’s for you guys. It’s a nice challenge, and I’m amazed at how many puzzles the story or the anime can manage to bring out. So far, they’ve been presenting a couple of puzzles per episode. They feel legit and not just made-up ones. You can really imagine how many puzzles like these actually exist in the world.
It's nice to see Nonoha getting some attention after so long. Herbert had a keen eye for detail and was able to catch things that others ignored. This was a solid and grounded episode for setting up the next few episodes with a soft and yet intriguing feel.
Nonoha finally gets her own spotlight and it's the right kind. She's not a solver, she knows it, and this episode asks what her role actually is around someone like Kaito. Her answer is simple and kind of genuinely moving. Also she has this memory ability that the show has been quietly building and it pays off nicely here. Best Nonoha episode so far by a lot.
