Nice backstory. This is learning more about Kaito's character and background. This is also giving a clearer picture of what POG is like at its organizational level and its goal. Surprisingly, they have a reputation to keep.

This episode has a great sense of suspense. The puzzles appear to be designed especially for Kaito and there is also an Orpheus armband that adds a layer of mystery to the show. All of a sudden it all feels the stakes are going to start increasing dramatically and beginning to build.

The group heads somewhere they probably shouldn't and the atmosphere shifts immediately. This is the episode where you start sensing that the puzzles aren't random they feel designed with Kaito specifically in mind. The Orpheus armband is doing something, it's just not fully clear what yet. That creeping feeling that everything is more personal than it looks? That's this episode.
