That emotionally charged scene really did affect me more than I would have imagined. The gradual shift from that relationship to a deeper level made the scene incredibly tear-jerking for me, especially with the addition of the POG.

They called it The Truth and they delivered. A lot of things that have been hinted at across the whole season come into focus here, not in a messy info dump way but in a way that feels earned. Kaito's reaction to what he learns is understated in the best way. The pacing slows down deliberately and it's the right call. One of the most important episodes of the season.
