📖 SYNOPSIS
"Perrine Monogatari" follows the adventures of Perrine, a young girl living in Bosnia with her Indian mother and her father. When her father dies, her mother's sole desire is to travel to France to reunite with her father-in-law. This ambitious goal requires a journey of over 1,000 kilometers.
To fund their travels, Perrine and her mother devise a plan: they will photograph people in the towns they pass through. Their journey is made with their trusty donkey, Palikare, and their loyal dog, Baron. Along the way, they encounter both helpful individuals and challenging circumstances. The anime explores themes of perseverance, family bonds, and the hardships faced during a long and difficult journey. The central question remains: can Perrine and her mother overcome the obstacles and reach France?
