Ngga kerasa udah end of episode aja.

Often overshadowed by Nana, this Ai Yazawa adaption deserves just as much praise, in my opinion. The first episode starts off strong with banger opening and ending themes. The characters introduced are immediately intriguing with great style. Also, Yukari girl, don't get into a strange man you just met's car, come on!

Episode Context

As the first of twelve episodes, 'Studio' functions purely as foundation, establishing Yukari's rigid world and the Paradise Kiss crew who will disrupt it entirely. Nothing precedes it, but every character dynamic and thematic thread introduced here, self-discovery, identity, creative freedom versus societal expectation, will escalate across the full season. This premiere sets the trajectory for Yukari's transformation arc, making it essential viewing for understanding everything that follows.
