Climb watches her, solemn but clearly moved by her apparent devotion to her people. In the carriage afterward, she speaks of the kingdom's impending doom with a burdened air, further solidifying her image as a selfless royal. In a different part of the city, Aura Bella Fiora arrives with her terrifying magical beasts. She dispatches the guards with playful ease, then unleashes her monsters, instructing her largest beast to trample everything in its path. The sounds of destruction and screams fill the air as she oversees the systematic elimination of the residential district. Aura watches the carnage from above, a chillingly cheerful architect of despair.

Brain Unglaus finds Cocytus waiting for him in a wide alley, flanked by Frost Maidens. Brain recognizes the overwhelming power, acknowledging this as the ultimate challenge he'd always sought. Cocytus, sensing Brain's warrior spirit, grants him a formal duel, introducing himself with respect. Brain then undertakes a desperate ritual of buffs, pushing his body to its limits, his goal not victory but a single, transcendent strike. He unleashes his 'True Nail Clipper,' but Cocytus parries it effortlessly, delivering a swift, fatal counter.

In a gesture of profound respect, Cocytus orders his Frost Maidens to encase Brain's body in a block of eternal ice, a monument to his bravery. He walks around the frozen form, rather than stepping over it, acknowledging the honor of his fallen opponent. The city's fall continues, marked by the deepening cold, as Cocytus resumes his march, leaving Brain's icy tomb as the lasting testament to the kingdom's final, defiant moments.
