EPISODE REVIEWS

Un final cursi y adorable como me lo esperé. Me gustó mucho la rivalidad con Daichy y lo dulce del final.

The rivalry between Daichi and Minami really made me laugh, like, SON, that's a literal kid. Don't be so serious, LMAO! Kidding aside, I am totally loving the direction and the overall development in this episode. The mood perfectly draws me in—be it the emotional delivery, the music, the story, everything just came together so well. I am pretty much very satisfied with how this series wrapped up in the end.

Episode Context

Episode 12 delivers a high-stakes season finale that fuses large-scale kaiju destruction with the series' earnest romantic-comedy heart. The action picks up directly from the previous confrontation, with the crisis triggered by Akae forcing Kuroe's private fears into a very public breakdown. Kuroe and Arata sit at the center, while Harugon stays close and Manatsu and Raimu fill supporting roles amid the emergency. Tonal shifts come fast: anxiety, tenderness, and jolts of absurd humor trade places as the scale expands. The episode trades new school-life setups for emotional clarity, acceptance, and the question of whether connection can hold when Kuroe feels most monstrous. Dramatic rescue imagery and vulnerable character beats define the hour, closing the season with an affectionate sense of scale.
