📖 SYNOPSIS
Set in 972 AD Kyoto, "Otogi Zoshi" depicts a city ravaged by famine, disease, and the self-serving actions of samurai and onmyoji. The Imperial Court, desperate to alleviate the suffering, tasks Minamoto no Raiko, a skilled archer, with retrieving a legendary gem believed to possess the power to save the world. However, Raiko falls ill. His younger sister, Hikaru, secretly takes his place, embarking on a journey to find the gem. This quest sees her navigating a world of political intrigue and hardship, encountering diverse individuals and facing numerous challenges as she strives to fulfill her mission and restore hope to the ailing city. The series explores themes of courage, sacrifice, and the fight against corruption in a time of crisis.
