We're finally in the exciting part of Oshi no Ko! This revelation is intense, and I'm having goosebumps after finishing this episode. It's convenient that Akane is explaining this to us so we can understand what's happening. 10/10

This is where the story stops playing nice. Ruby’s mindset gets way more deliberate, Aqua starts cracking under pressure, and the investigation side of things finally clicks into place. You can feel everything tightening narratively.

The conversation between Ruby and Aqua at the start feels really dark. Ruby’s plan is starting to work, and her darker side is getting more intense. Aqua slips back into his dark phase after a harsh truth. The ending leaves us hanging with a reveal from Akane.

Ruby is really playing everyone like a fiddle now. Seeing her use her innocent charm to hide such a cold and calculated plan is terrifying. The way she stares at the camera with those dark stars makes you realize the old Ruby is gone.

OMG the emotions! The feels! I’m so hyped up. Aqua breaking down, Akane finding the real dad, I’m riding the emotional roller coaster and I’m on the top of it! A bit sad the Goat Kana was done here that way.

9/10

This episode was insanely good. The motional and mental turmoil thrown here was definitely unexpected and well put together.

I can't believe Akane figured out it was Hikaru Kamiki just from those old theater tapes, but those white roses have me terrified that she is next on his list

My skin crawled when Ruby asked the director to keep using her because she sounded just like Aqua and her eyes were so cold and I hate that she is losing her innocence for this industry

When Aqua just completely broke down in the rain, learning his father was still out there, it honestly sent shivers down my spine. The way his past self materialized felt like such a cruel taunt, and I'm just so worried about how much deeper he's going to sink into this revenge quest.

Aqua's lifeless eyes at the very end totally froze me, it's clear he's gone beyond just searching for Hikaku now. I just know he's going to dive headfirst into something super dangerous to get to the bottom of this, and my stomach drops thinking about how far he's willing to go.

The tension at the fishing pond was heavy, especially when Ichigo admitted he was the one pulling strings for Ruby to make up for his own cowardice.

I actually gasped when Akane found that old video of Hikaru Kamiki and realized he was the one sending the white roses. The mystery is finally opening up, and it’s so much darker than anything I expected since he was only a kid when it all started. Watching her piece together the puzzle while Aqua spirals is just heart-wrenching.

You can see the exact moment Aqua loses his mind on that bench and the animation during his hallucination made the whole scene feel like a horror movie

Ruby saying that passion isn't enough to survive shows how much she has hardened herself and she is really becoming a mini Aqua but with way more charisma

Akane connects the dots on Hikaru Kamiki so fast and it is crazy that she realized the father was only fifteen years old and she is definitely the most dangerous person in the show right now

The way Aqua saw Gorou standing over him in the park was haunting and you can see the absolute hollow look in his eyes when he realizes his revenge is still active

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned as Episode 4 of 11, "Blind" follows the moral fallout explored in Episode 3's "Correctness," pushing characters deeper into the consequences of their choices while the weight of ambition and deception compounds. This is the season's transition point — introspection before escalation. It directly sets the stage for Episode 5, "Casting," where the narrative pivots toward new professional stakes and opportunities that will test everything these characters have been processing internally.
