After the continuation of the cliffhanger and its revelation, nothing much really happened in this episode. I'd say the most important part is the first 5 minutes, but the rest of the show was lackluster. Still, their upcoming trip seems exciting enough.

The story gains more momentum here, with a stronger sense of direction and urgency. Character development remains central, and the episode builds well toward bigger moments ahead.

Ruby was very cute in this episode, I love her determination and passion. The other parts of the episode were quite peaceful, everything was perfect until the storm arrived thats coming in this arc.

Episode Context

Sitting at episode 10 of 13, "Liberation" is a clear transitional beat following the conclusion of the Tokyo Blade stage play arc that dominated the season's middle stretch. It pivots away from the ensemble theatrical drama to refocus on Aqua's personal journey and B-Komachi's professional trajectory, functioning as the emotional reset before the season's final three episodes escalate toward their conclusion. This is where Season 2 plants the seeds for its endgame.
