My favorite thing about this show is how Ebichu somehow stays so happy while everything around her is falling apart. That boyfriend is a total loser and I wanted to kick him myself

The title about soap bubbles is so accurate because this man has zero substance and he just floats around being useless. It is funny but also kind of depressing to see them go in circles

This episode was just okay and nothing really happened compared to the earlier stuff. It was basically just a reset to show how messy their relationship still is and Ebichu got hit again

I am so tired of seeing OL take him back every single time because he is just a piece of garbage. Watching Ebichu try to fix their mess was the only part I liked

Kaishounachi is the worst boyfriend in history and OL deserves way better than this trash man. It felt good getting back to the main house dynamic after that weird detour though

You can tell the writers were just treading water, and it would be better if they spent more time on the actual gags instead of just showing the boyfriend being a jerk again

The pacing was way off and nothing memorable really happened to justify how much time they spent on the boyfriend just being his typical unfaithful self

Getting back to the house and the main trio worked because the show really shines there even if the boyfriend is a complete scumbag

I think the return to the main couple was a smart move after that Maa-kun detour, but this one just didn't land for me like the others did. It felt way too much like a transition piece where they are just setting up future drama rather than giving us any big laughs or new jokes to sit with during the runtime

There is a lack of high energy in these scenes compared to the start of the season and it felt like filler meant to move the plot along without the usual sharp humor

Ebichu getting smacked around for trying to help is the standard at this point and this one felt a bit slower than the rest of the season so far

Everything feels like a bridge to get us somewhere else and not much happened besides the usual routine of Kaishounachi being a total bum while OL suffers through it

The soap bubble title is a weirdly perfect way to describe how fragile and empty the men in this show are and watching OL deal with him again felt right

That ending left me feeling pretty bored since nothing actually changed and I wanted more of the high energy chaos that the earlier episodes had instead of this slow burner

I really liked seeing the show get back to the main mess between OL and that loser boyfriend because the Maa-kun stuff was getting old and Ebichu is funniest when she is trying to fix their trash relationship

Ebichu having such a warped view of the world from watching those two fight was hilarious and her rant about men was easily my favorite bit

Everything starts out normal and then devolves into pure chaos because of a misunderstanding in this episode and that is just the classic Ebichu energy. I actually felt bad for the Office Lady because her boyfriend is such a loser, but watching Ebichu try to navigate their adult drama with her hamster logic, it never fails to make me laugh until it hurts.

Ebichu getting slapped for just repeating what she hears is the standard dynamic and it is so good to have the focus back on their messy house life

Seeing Kaishounachi be a total deadbeat again really makes you wonder why OL even stays with him and his lazy attitude was so frustrating to watch

The soap bubble analogy fits Kaishonachi perfectly since he has no substance and just follows his impulses. Ebichu is definitely carrying the show even when she is getting kicked across the room for being too loud about the holes

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the Maa-kun-focused detour in Episode 10, Episode 11 pulls the lens back onto the central relationship between the Office Lady and Kaishounachi, re-grounding the season in its core dynamic of romantic dysfunction and comedic suffering. This installment acts as a tonal reset, reinforcing the series' satirical take on adult relationships before Episode 12, 'Cavities and Hearts Both Throb,' introduces fresh personal complications for the Office Lady.
