Looks the the final battle will be based on the faceoff between Father & Daughter, Helio vs Geo centrism. Both half of the episode dont really progress the story alot, its more of seeing where things are with both of them and how much they have evolve as a person.

The episode's plot tone was calming and full of emotions. Nowak and Jolenta on different world, beliefs, and feelings after all those years. Never imagined that Oczy's spirit be nostalgic and his presence take me back to where it all started. Anticipating episode to look forward.

I loved this episode, but I'm giving it a medium rating because of how much anxiety this episode made me feel. Like wow, I Love it, it is brilliant but... mahn some dialogue raised too many flags and all of them way too red for my liking. The animation style is awesome wow.

Episode Context

Episode 19 downshifts into contemplative territory, turning the lens inward on Nowak, a former inquisitor now confronting the weight of his own past. This is a slow-burn character study, not an action-driven installment. The pacing is deliberately measured, giving space for philosophical introspection about moral ambiguity, institutional complicity, and what it actually means to find ethical ground when the world offers none. Interactions between Nowak and a young inquisitor seeking guidance create a compelling generational tension, the disillusionment of experience meeting the certainty of youth. Madhouse leans into the series' signature restraint here, trusting quiet dialogue and internal conflict over spectacle. Fans who appreciate the show's intellectual backbone will find this deeply rewarding. Those wanting momentum may feel the brakes, but the thematic groundwork being laid is essential.
