Amazing writing yet again, very amazing to see all these ideas and philosophy being projected in an anime. Welcome back Yolenta. Can't wait to see more!

That final scene with the stars was stunning. It’s bittersweet because they won't see the world change in their lifetime, but they chose to be the foundation for the future. Such a powerful way to wrap up this arc. Definitely a must-watch!

This episode is interesting. With the hype action from the start, into the middle of deep conversations and beliefs, down to the end twist, was brilliantly written. The thoughts were evolving, so was the technology. And also felt the warmth of the dawn with that sunrise visuals!

Episode Context

Episode 18 runs on pure tension. The power struggle over forbidden knowledge reaches a boiling point as Bishop Antoni moves to seize a critical book, forcing the key players into direct confrontation. Draka and Captain Schmidt's forces become pivotal pieces on the board, and the episode leans heavily into strategic maneuvering and high-stakes standoffs. The pacing is tight and action-driven, trading the series' more contemplative moments for urgent, pressure-cooker intensity. Thematically, this is about the cost of liberating information from authoritarian control, who gets to decide what knowledge is dangerous, and who is willing to risk everything to ensure it spreads. The determination radiating from the cast gives the episode a defiant, almost revolutionary energy. If you've been invested in the ideological warfare at the heart of this series, this installment delivers on that promise with force.
