Tough episode to watch, not because its bad but because it involves difficult scenarios for the characters. But still the writing is top of the top.

This was a slow-burned episode halfway through the series. Striking fighting scene clashed from the start, great animation and sound effects. The intense confrontation between Nowak and Oczy was epic. Thought the tunnel built was of no-use since the outcome wasn't predicted.

Another beautiful episode wow. I had a feeling but wow. Anyway, this episode answers a lot of questions, and also begs a lot of question in my opinion. The pacing was very good honestly, with everything, this episode made me feel exhausted. I was tense from beginning to end

We’re halfway through and I’m a total mess. The legacy aspect of this show is so powerful. It’s about how even if one person falls, the truth is immortal. It’s such a hopeful yet tragic message. I love it so much!

This episode was tense, When Oczy got pincushioned at the start of the episode, I genuinely thought it was finally time for a new protagonist. Thank goodness he's still alive though.

Intense start as Oczy was captured by Novak's group. Also highlighted contrast between freedom and strict code order. The episode gets more dark and horrifying towards the end.

Oczy was prepared to die at that battle, and what happened next shattered my heart as I was getting attatched to his character. But props to both Oczy and Badeni for standing with what they believed, even confronted with someone was chilling as Nowak. Props to the author.

This was such a heavy episode to take in. But i am glad that Rafal still has so much influence in the story. Nowak was targeting Oczy's eye and it's something that Badeni has himself lost so he knows what the pain feels like and that ended up being his breaking point. RIP man 😓

The dream sequence was beautiful, with oczy finally naming "freedom" as his ideal. Mad respect to badenu for protecting Jolenta without hesitation. and yeah, i'm gonna be sick with nowak pulling out that thingy. this ep is wrecking me!!

Choosing hope when everything says give up? Beautiful. This isn't about winning - it's about refusing to lose your soul. Characters stare into darkness and blink first. Makes you wonder what YOU'D sacrifice for truth. Quietly powerful stuff. 😶

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the exact midpoint of the 25-episode run, Episode 13 follows directly from Episode 12's discovery of incriminating evidence at Badeni's premises, shifting the focus squarely onto the psychological fallout of that revelation. It serves as a critical turning point in the season's exploration of resistance against orthodoxy, deepening the stakes before Episode 14, 'Tonight's Sky...,' where characters begin taking decisive, fate-altering action.
