This is the lightest episode so far. No blood, no battles, no rape threats. Just Heizo being clever, Kumehachi being conflicted, and an old man getting humiliated in the most gentlemanly way possible. The animation is great the fireworks scene is breathtaking, and the use of morning glories to show time passing is a lovely touch.

Nice to see a different side of Heizō here, and I liked that it spent more time on him as a person. This episode was slower and didn’t have much action, but I liked it more for the characters and their relationships. Had a few nice moments that made Heizō feel more likable. Worth watching if you enjoy slower episodes that spend more time on the characters.
