Coming off the emotional and physical aftermath of the Deep Sea King battle in episode 9, this episode pivots from individual heroics to a collective crisis that tests the entire Hero Association's infrastructure. As episode 10 of 12, it functions as the critical setup for the season's climactic finale, introducing the threat that will drive the remaining episodes, particularly leading directly into 'The Dominator of the Universe.'
