It was absolutely wild watching the Scabbards just barrel through all those pirates while the castle was a blazing mess; I felt so much urgency for them to make it, my breath hitched seeing them fight so desperately to reach their goal.

Momonosuke not crying when Kaido grabbed him was impressive for a kid his age and it shows he has that Kozuki blood in him for sure

I can't believe Toki went out like that and her prophecy gave me actual chills because of how it ties everything together for the future of Wano

Toki is such a legend for staying behind and her final speech about the nine shadows was the perfect way to end this whole flashback story

Kaido dropping Momonosuke like he was nothing but trash really showed how much of a monster he is and it made that burning castle scene feel like a nightmare

I actually liked how long this flashback took, because seeing Toki stand her ground in the fire made her death hit way harder than in the manga

The way they showed Toki getting shot was way more brutal than expected, and it felt like a horror movie for a second there
