Neptune is absolutely massive and his design is so weird but it fits this world perfectly

Seeing everyone refuse to help Sanji because of those laws really got to me, and it makes the comedy of his nosebleed feel way more serious

Where does Hody even keep all those pills and it is like he has a whole pharmacy hidden in his body or something crazy

Hody Jones is making a huge statement by wrecking Gyro like that, but it is hard to tell how much of that is just the drugs talking

Neptune is absolutely massive and he looks like a powerlifter which is hilarious but the vibe changed fast when Sharley mentioned the prophecy because Luffy destroying the whole island sounds like such a huge deal and thinking it might be a metaphor for him breaking the old system or something plus Hody Jones is getting way too strong with those pills

King Neptune riding in on that whale was such a cool visual and his design is easily one of the most unique things in this arc so far

Hody Jones taking those energy steroids and crushing a whole ship with his bare hands while in cuffs was actually terrifying to see

Luffy's destiny to 'destroy' the island really makes me wonder if it's less about actual rubble and more about him just smashing their ridiculous, old-fashioned laws instead. I mean, wouldn't that just be *so* Luffy, to free people by breaking the rules that bind them?

All that focus on the blood transfusion felt like forever, and I just kept thinking, "come on, let's get back to the adventure already!" It made me feel like the pacing was really slowing down what should've been a more action-packed part of the arc.

I cant get over how huge Neptune is and he looks like a total powerlifter but he seems so chill inviting the crew to the palace for food

You know Pappag messed up when he told the crew that everything in his store was free of charge

Neptune has some of the biggest biceps I have ever seen, and seeing him ride that massive whale into the plaza was pretty cool.

Hody Jones looks like a monster when he attacks that ship while his hands are tied and he moves so fast underwater

You can really feel the tension when they talk about how humans cannot give blood to fishmen and it makes the history feel much darker
chopper_champion_38's avatar

Those shark teeth are terrifying and the way Hody Jones used them to rip that ship apart while handcuffed was so violent

Nami taking everything from the fashion shop was classic and Pappag definitely regretted saying it was all free

Everyone is heading to the palace now and that whale Hoe is just adorable, but I am mostly thinking about Hody Jones right now. He looks so different and scary with those weird drugs, and the way he destroyed Gyro while his hands were tied was brutal. It really shows how much stronger the fishmen can be when they use those pills.

The goofy Sanji nosebleed gag actually caught me off guard because it turned into a serious plot point about blood laws and racism

That giant whale Hoe is huge and the way Neptune just floats in on top of it makes for a wild entrance

Everything feels like it is moving at a snail's pace and it would be nice to get to the part where Hody actually does something besides stare at people and take pills

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off a pivotal episode that introduced a dire prophecy about Fish-Man Island's destruction, this installment shifts focus to the island's ruling class through King Neptune, deepening the political landscape the Straw Hats must navigate. It bridges the crew's initial underwater arrival with the more consequential events at Ryugu Palace, establishing key alliances and tensions. Everything here — the royal invitation, the cultural immersion — is laying groundwork for the conflicts and revelations that will define the Fish-Man Island arc going forward.
