I love how they showed Zoro’s fight and how he changed after encountering Mihawk. That was some smooth visual storytelling that made both his character and the episode even better.

We really need to study what Zoro eats, because how is this dude still standing after that encounter with Mihawk? 😭 He was amazing here, even though Hachi was a bit annoying with all his yapping, lol.

This fight was epic. Zoro was incredible—I almost forgot how built different he is. Such a great episode that highlighted his character, especially with those smooth flashbacks tied to his goals.

Splits focus across simultaneous fights, maintaining urgency throughout. The pacing keeps tension tight.

zoro fighting hatchan while barely standing after the mihawk duel is peak one piece stubbornness and the tension of luffy actually drowning keeps things intense, even if the pacing drags a bit with all the reaction shots - still a solid action episode that shows why zoro's such a fan favourite

While I'm wating for them to surface Luffy, they are giving us the action-packed fight of Hachi and Zoro. Will be the Six Swords defeat the Three Swords? Zoro's determination about his promise is something else.

Seeing Zoro stand up and win after that flashback of his promise and the Mihawk fight is incredible because his fever was clearly killing him and he still pulled off that tiger hunt move

I can't get over Zoro fighting with that massive chest wound and he still managed to take out the octopus guy while bleeding through his bandages like crazy

hatchan spinning around like a literal meat grinder was kind of terrifying and zoro having to deal with a fever on top of those injuries is just unfair

I can't get over Zoro standing back up after that flashback of Kuina and Mihawk, because he looked like a ghost but his spirit was just on another level and seeing him take on six swords with only one and win while he's basically dying from a fever and that giant chest wound is the coolest thing he has ever done, and it actually made me forget how slow the pacing felt earlier

Sanji going against Kuroobi underwater is a tough fight given the fishmen's advantage but he still prioritized getting Luffy safe

Hatchan was kinda goofy looking with his six swords you gotta admit he was more entertaining than I expected

The way they stretched Luffy's neck so he could breathe while still trapped was such a strange and memorable solution, it made me laugh but also realize how dire his situation was. It was a really unique twist on things and you don't see stuff like that every day in anime

You have to respect Zoro saying he can't die because he still needs to beat Mihawk that ambition is everything

Hatchan's six-sword style was surprisingly effective even if he seemed a bit naive he still put up a decent fight

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode is deep in the Arlong Park arc, one of early One Piece's most pivotal story arcs, with the Straw Hats fully committed to their assault on Arlong's stronghold. The previous episode kicked off the crew's confrontation with Arlong's officers, and this one escalates the individual battles that define the arc's middle stretch. It builds critical momentum toward the arc's climax—the showdowns that will cement the crew's bonds and deliver the emotional payoff this storyline has been building toward.
