EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode had me laughing despite the tense situation. Luffy is such an idiot—I love him so much. Also, Zoro and Sanji’s dynamic here was so cool!

Episode Context

This episode marks the eruption point of the Arlong Park arc, transitioning from the emotional groundwork of Nami's history and Luffy's declaration of war into direct crew-versus-crew combat. The previous episodes built the case for why Arlong needs to fall; now every Straw Hat is putting their life on the line to make it happen. It sets the stage for the individual matchups and climactic showdowns that will define the arc's conclusion.
