Pell taking the bomb up was such a massive moment for Alabasta, and his loyalty to the royal family really came through in those scenes with a younger Vivi. It feels like a turning point for the whole series, because the stakes actually have weight now, and Crocodile being so cold about the backup plan made him a great villain to beat. He really was a terrifying villain today.
