Episode Context

Episode 1 introduces Mitsutaka Oji through the gap between his polished public image and his fiercely private love of cute things. The comedy stays warm rather than chaotic: domestic routines, small everyday textures, and the quiet anxiety that one careless moment could expose his secret. Pugtaro, a character from Kitto D Land, sits at the center of the episode's cozy appeal, while Masumi Nii's presence in Oji's home gives the premise immediate personal pressure. Kenta Kawai, Wataru Naruto, and Bosskichi round out the cast. The pacing is measured and character-led, trading broad gags for affectionate observation of a dependable adult's guarded emotional history and the relatable vulnerability underneath it. The episode is built to establish who Oji is rather than to escalate anything.
