Quite an interesting episode, with some nice character development as everyone grows closer. The ending makes you expect something exciting in the next episode, but at the same time, it's still hard to tell where the story is heading.

The goku reference was freaking funny. The comedy really got me rolling on the floor lmao and the coach’s expressions were really hilarious. There’s a progress now and i think i’m gonna see more serious side of Kei in the next ep.

Episode Context

Following the first two episodes' explosive introductions of Haruka and Kei's legendary battery and their shocking reunion with middle school rivals, Episode 3 pivots into the foundational team-building phase at Kotesashi High School, the connective tissue between setup and competition. This is early-season infrastructure, establishing the interpersonal dynamics that will fuel the drama once real games begin. It feeds directly into Episode 4, 'I Won't Hold Back,' which is positioned to escalate both the team's ambitions and the personal stakes.
