Nyaruko seriously used Mahiro’s body to do the ridiculous things, and she even confessed publicly in the classroom! After switching back, how is Mahiro supposed to face everyone now? The funniest part was definitely the ending. I knew that emotional and dramatic moment was going to turn into some kind of twist. Also, Kuuko and Hasuta’s reactions and facial expressions were absolutely hilarious.
This episode brings a delightfully bizarre change of pace by shifting the character dynamics into a surreal reality-TV or game-show style vibe. Watching the cosmic entities interact under a completely different spotlight highlights just how deeply dysfunctional, yet oddly close-knit, this makeshift alien family has become.
