I think this might be my favorite episode so far, despite how little my girl Yura has a timescreen here. I really like how we get to see the action not only from the continued fight with Tsuchigumo, but we also get to see another one later down the episode. And the mystery that this episode served is great, with the sword and blood, and then the questions about Nue, I feel like this episode not only served action but also important questions, as we moved to the last five episodes.
It really becomes steadily escalating as the substantial narrative digs deeper and heightens towards the climax, delivering another major revelation and an unexpected confrontation. However, to be honest, the overall combat feels surprisingly short when you look at the big picture. It is likely due to the slow narrative pace and the more frequent dialogue exchanges during action scenes, which occasionally disrupt the exciting and thrilling momentum.
