It's been literal decades since I first watched this so I'm honestly pretty hyped in this rewatch! Love the huge contrast between that thrilling beginning and Haruka's simple life as a young teen. I also love how deep we are in understanding Yu's personality as well. Looks like we're going to see some interesting conflicts at play between the characters. Another thing to note is how impressive the style is for the animation as well as the 3D elements of it. Almost feels ahead of its time.

The episode felt confusing at first, mixing sci‑fi with everyday life, and it still leaves a lot of mystery about what is really happening.
