Noein: To Your Other Self

This finale episode starts out so strong with an intense battle, and with Haruka making her ultimate choice alongside those of her friends in the present. It's amazing how far the journey has become and it really led to everyone gaining deeper understanding of each other. I absolutely love it.

The action kept ramping up in here and boy, I loved every second of it! The action choreography was truly breathtaking, and even the tension happening at the present day was truly gripping. It's crazy how we've all gotten this far and seen them develop, and for things to finally come to this point.

This was such a hard hitting episode. All these visions of other dimensions, it really feels disheartening to know too much sometimes. I love how the concept overall reminds me of a couple time-travelling films I like, too.

Such a riveting watch! I love how we're finally getting more understanding the depth of Haruka's involvement across these dimensions. I had chills when Yu and Karasu finally had more time together just being around each other. Can't wait to see what follows next from that ending.

Juicy development over here! I love the tension between the last few characters standing here - where their hearts and loyalty lies being tested. I wonder what will be Noein's next move!

Hmm... I quite like the theme for this episode and how it also delves into important values, but it doesn't really get to the part that needed to happen for the plot until the last few minutes. Might be a bit of a skip material episode.

This episode had a decent focus on Haruka and her abilities, and the looming threat of Noein feels a lot more real this time compared to the other instances. Things are about to get serious here!

I do like the build up in here and Kosagi's persistence, though it's definitely hard to rate this one out of the fact that it only pushes the plot forward a little. I feel like you could easily skip this episode and not really miss that much if you've connected the cast from Lacryma to the "present" friend group.

I love how Haruka did her best in this episode! Connections really make all the difference among people. The stakes are also getting higher in the back, with some actions within this present day slowly helping us realize how the "future" ended up in that manner.

This episode goes wild! I love how the right parties finally find each other here, and then we have more info about the masked man. I've been curious about that ever since his first appearance. The way Haruka's part here really sent chills to my spine - it'd be so creepy to have that happen to you.

I love the recent changes that has happened to the friend group, but I can't help but worry about Yu in particular and I'm pretty sure if you watch him carefully here you'll know why. This episode also ends on a pretty ominous note, so we're bound for some trouble!

It's a race against the clock here! The bgm really elevated the mood for all the scenes in this episode. I love how things have visibly progressed in this anime so far as well.

The animation for the major fight scenes here looked a little rough, but I feel like that just adds more to the style of it. Or maybe I'm just a little too optimistic in seeing this. Still, it was very easy to follow and the way the characters didn't hold back in their convictions really carried the scene.

Aww, I love how calmer things have gone in this episode. Atori aside, the way the others solved their conflict just by talking things through was great. There's also the mysterious bit behind a certain "project" going on in this present time. I feel like it's going to be a big thing soon - I'm honestly excited for that!

It started out on a good note and ended in yet another problem! Haruka and Yu can't seem to catch a break here. I quite like this change with Yu's mom, and that scene with the group just being their regular selves. Still seated on what comes next as Karasu sticks by his promise.

Didn't expect for Haruka to be involved in this manner for this episode, but it's a very welcome one. I love how we get a better glimpse of what life had been Yu's mother - I've been very curious of her true motivations all this time. And the episode ending with a little teaser at the end! I can't wait to see what happens next.

We're back into calmer waters but the problems in the present are now back into focus here. I love seeing how everyone has their own problems to deal with and it all intersects.

OOH, my heart! I love how the outside conflict perfectly shows how desperate things truly look in Lacryma and what role Haruka will play as the Dragon Torque there. The small segment of the "present" was something I appreciated too as its a breather from the fights going on in the future. I honestly feel invested to know how things have gone this way in this version of the future and what the Shangrila really is.

Now we get something good! Haruka's abduction leads to her discovering something new and shocking. Still don't quite agree with how she acts, honestly, because I feel like she is a lot smarter than she looks but always reverts into denial when things are in her face. The bgm in this episode feels a lot more immersive, too.

Excellent fight scene here, and the way the tension was built up from the start was excellent. Things keep taking a turn for Haruka but as much as we're shown that she does take all of it seriously, it feels like she immediately moves on from it which takes away the stakes a little. We'll see if this changes though.
