This flashback episode was way more interesting than it ought to be, especially in explaining why one of the main characters became the person that he is at present. By the way he acted, you wouldn't assume a nuanced motivation from him, but I guess expect the unexpected. Anyways, another hype moment is in the wings next episode, let's see if it delivers.

Don't ask certain old folks what they were doing during World War II, just like you wouldn't ask Frankenstein what he was doing before he met Rai. In this episode, we finally learn more about the nobles and Frankenstein's past, and we see a more fearsome side of him. But he's standing up for humanity, so I support him.

Frankenstein’s backstory made him way more interesting than I expected 👀 The confrontation with Gejutel and Ragar had crazy intensity too. That dark spear scene? Yeah, the visuals popped OFF there for real.
