EPISODE CONTEXT
Episode 7 closes out the Karen Bee arc that has driven Nisemonogatari's first half, resolving the central conflict surrounding Kaiki's schemes and Karen's crisis of conviction. The six preceding episodes built toward this confrontation through escalating tension between Araragi's protective instincts and the philosophical questions Kaiki represents. With this arc wrapped, the series pivots toward the Tsukihi Phoenix arc for its remaining four episodes, shifting focus to Araragi's other sister.
