EPISODE CONTEXT
Sitting just under the first-third mark of the 20-episode season, episode six builds on the emotional groundwork laid by the near-drowning incident in episode five ('Swimming'), using its aftermath to deepen the Raku-Chitoge dynamic beyond their forced relationship premise. It also keeps Onodera in the romantic equation, maintaining the love triangle tension that drives the series. Crucially, this episode sets the table for episode seven ('Rival'), which will introduce new complications that escalate the stakes for all three characters.
