EPISODE REVIEWS

I feel like every episode is meant to be enjoyed on it's own no matter if you've seen the rest, it's very lighthearted and the plot is fun and easy to follow. Despite that there's still some continuity, like Devil being domesticated (or at least they're trying to). I do wish we could get more lore regarding the ninjas.

Honestly, the first part was lowkey annoying cuz I find Onsokumaru's character pretty annoying; the way his voice lines are delivered is something I don't appreciate either. The second half was slightly better, with more of a focus on Kaede and Shinobu; the way her mom reacted was lowkey wholesome, and the way she was accepted by both parents was kinda funny.

This series excels at maintaining its comedy, continuously building on the humor with fresh situations and locations. What really caught my attention in this episode, was its heart underneath all the jokes, it delivered a truly wholesome focus on family.
