It's been a year since Shinobu and Kaede met and they both seem to cherish each other a lot. The way they managed to parody so many anime tropes is such a short amount of time is pretty funny. The animation was overall pretty good, there's some early use of cgi camera angles and the mix of cells with digital animation is pretty standard for 2004. The last scene was the msot wholesome part of the entire show.

The twist in this final episode was executed brilliantly! The show went all in on the emotional delivery, which made the stakes feel genuinely high for a finale. It really hit all the right notes and felt like a fitting conclusion to the entire journey.

This was definitely more emotional than all of the rest of the episodes combined. I loved how stupid Onsokumaru was, even though it was the last episode.Kaede is a pretty cool character, and so is Shinobu; not so much a fan of Onsokumaru, but I guess he makes the show a lot funnier. I'm gonna miss the Ninjas even though they're side characters and I don't even know their names except Sasuke; they were a great addition to the show.
