Combining ninja style with heavy CGI is a wild concept, but this episode quickly switches gears. Thought we were getting a full-on ninja vs robot brawl, but the story stalls for a huge history lesson. Visuals stay solid.

Episode Context

Sitting just past the halfway mark at episode 7 of 13, this installment builds directly on the escalating conflicts and revelations from the first six episodes, deepening Higan's personal stakes while expanding the scope of the threats he faces. It functions as a critical pivot point in the season, transitioning from the setup-heavy first half into what promises to be a more confrontation-driven back half. New adversaries and challenges introduced here lay the groundwork for the endgame stretch across the final six episodes.
