This episode was cool. I felt that we saw what it means to have free will. I wonder where Adam and Eve will stand in this war. Also, what's going on with 9S?
Jeez, the scenes with Adam and Eve are SO UNSETTLING 😫!! What makes up for it are the cute moments between 2B and 9S 🫶 (I wish they could keep that simple promise…) We also visit Machine Village in this ep! Pascal is such a sweetheart, and his theme is such a banger 💖 Once again, this provokes a similar question as the last ep: Are we completely misunderstanding what the machines are like? The feelings are so conflicted… 🤔 BUT OMG WE ALSO GET TO SEE EMIL 😭!!! The NieR Replicant teases are driving me crazy 🥹 And the L3+R3 reference in the bonus ending was HYSTERICAL LMAO. Another IYKYK moment that makes you wanna play the game 😂
I liked the background music when they were in the village, it felt like the music embodied hope. The background music in the other scenes gave me goosebumps. The stories of the other machine lifeforms were so touching that I almost forgot there was a war going on.
