This kind of story is my guilty pleasure, so I already like the premise. The characters feel a bit generic for this type of series. The opening scene throws a lot of lore and information at the viewer right away, which can be a bit overwhelming. At the same time, it does a good job of building anticipation and making me curious about how the story will differentiate from that point. I'm looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.
