more like half recap and half rei brain dump. skip the first part unless you forgot everything from the first episode. the second half with unit-00 going berserk again is worth the watch. weird but short one.

This episode features flashbacks from episodes 1 to 13. The second half is pure Evangelion gold. The "interchange test" is eerie, and the psychological "visual poem" sequence provides some of the best abstract animation in the series.

Slower and reflective. Focuses on the characters’ thoughts and feelings, giving the story more emotional weight. Quiet moments linger and make you think.
