the nerdiest episode eva gets. virus angel, no mecha fights, just ritsuko hacking her dead mom's brain computers. slow but cool if you like sci-fi. skip if you want robot punching.

This episode is dark and wholesome, with many tense scenes, as we face the Eleventh Angel, Iruel—a microscopic, virus-like organism that functions as a living circuit. It moves from the physical world into NERV's digital architecture.

Unique and interesting. The episode adds depth without overexplaining anything. Character moments feel meaningful, and the world continues to feel mysterious and engaging.
