Really, fishing solves almost every problem. What a happy and and peaceful way to end the series. Moovie quality anime with really precise attention to detail.

A calm, satisfying ending. It doesn’t go big, but it wraps things up in a grounded way. If you followed the pacing from the start, this feels complete. It’s a soft finish that respects the journey.

I truly value that the two cats frequently seen around the store had kittens in the epilogue. This was a charming character-focused tale about discovering hope and personal connection. It has a message some people desperately need to hear.

Episode Context

As the twelfth and final episode, this directly follows 'I Have to Tell Him,' which built toward the crucial confrontation between Takaaki and Hiro that the entire season has been threading. The series spent its run exploring how fishing becomes a vehicle for connection and self-worth, and this finale serves as the emotional payoff for that journey. Rather than introducing new conflict, it closes the loop on the season's central relationship and thematic question: whether these two can find their way back to each other and, more importantly, to themselves.
