EPISODE REVIEWS

NGL this episode caught me off guard. A new character reveal. Watching Natsume try to figure out if this guy's trustworthy is lowkey the best part. RECOMMENDED please watch it 😁

En este episodio se puede ver el gran dilema de la bondad versus la frialdad en torno de como ver a los yokai y esto parte cuando Natsume conoce a otro humano que posee la habilidad de ver yokais pero desde una perspectiva muy distinta a la que el lleva.

Episode Context

Coming after 'Fleeting Light' and its bittersweet meditation on impermanent bonds, episode 9 pivots by giving Natsume something he's never had: a human peer who sees what he sees. Positioned at the two-thirds mark of the thirteen-episode season, this introduction of Natori is a deliberate expansion of the show's thematic scope, challenging the empathetic worldview Natsume has been building all season. This encounter plants seeds that will resonate through the remaining episodes and well beyond this first season.
