Natsume's Book of Friends Season 4 Episode 12: The Door of Memories

In this episode, we finally get to see one by one of Natsume's childhood memories, and it's intensely emotional. I'd say the youkai was kinda creepy, though. The ending was kinda a cliffhanger, so make sure not to skip the next episode, nor this one. Can't want to ride more extreme emo rollercoaster on next eps, so prepare it!

Returning to his home that shared memories with his parents was harder than expected. This episode is a mix of drama and tense horror so to speak with that Youkai lurking in that house. Great episode probably one of the best in this season.

After the epic arc, This episode brings us back to the usual grounded, sentimental storytelling that makes this show special for me. It’s a bit of a calm after the storm episode, but it hits right in the feels.
