The backstory was sad and emotional for me. It’s understandable and given to feel frustrated as a child. The youkai were animated amazingly and the word play was quite good. This was pure and heartwarming.

En este episodio la nostalgia y los recuerdos comulgan con Natsume al tener un viaje por sus recuerdos y recordar un yokai que conoció cuando era menor.
the childhood flashback animation was SOFT and dreamy. the Youkai transforming into a neko to sit on Natsume's lap? slayyyyyyed! the train trip scenery was gorgeous. pure nostalgic feels. 🌳
